​From emergency rooms in large city hospitals to volunteer fire departments in the countryside – medical and emergency services organizations around the world are facing the same problem: how to recruit young people. Continuing education and motivational measures are two possible responses to demographic changes and increasingly demanding requirements.

​Although just about every detail is taken into account in operating rooms – from antiseptic materials and tiled rooms to infusion bottles – heat is too rarely considered. Efforts to restore patients’ health and well-being should also include maintaining the right body temperature in the operating room.

​Drägerheft, the German version of Dräger Review, will celebrate its 100th anniversary in July 2012. This makes it one of the oldest customer magazines in Germany. A look back at the 389 issues in the archive reveals that while the magazine’s appearance has changed, its focus has remained much the same.

​Dräger worked with customers all over the world to develop this automatic tube pump, which is the first all-in-one solution for gas measurements made using Dräger short-term tubes and sampling tubes.
